Saint James Place, which consists of the church’s former Sanctuary and Parish Hall, has been outfitted with special lighting, dressing rooms, a green room, air conditioning, a commercial grade kitchen, handicap-accessibility – everything for a quality performing arts facility and gathering place for the community.
It offers three different rental spaces for arts and cultural groups, each with its own separate lobby and entrance. The former Sanctuary will seat between 250-300 people and retain its original pews (modified for comfort), stained glass windows and many other characteristics of the historic church, with the addition state-of-the-art lighting and equipment.
The Parish House offers two smaller spaces; The Great Hall, which seats 134 and the East Room, which can accommodate 88 people. Both can be used for receptions before and after performances at Saint James Place, with refreshments served from the adjacent commercial grade kitchen.
Saint James Place is equipped with an elevator from the basement, where dressing rooms and private bathrooms for performers will be located, to the second floor, which will house 3,200 sq. feet of office and meeting/rehearsal space in six different rooms.
