Saint James Place was built in the Gothic Revival style in 1857 and was completely restored and updated in 2017. Our unique setting is an inspiring backdrop for brainstorming, strategic planning, decision-making, and team building.

Versatility
Our event spaces are flexible and can accommodate a variety of meeting formats, from small team discussions with break-out rooms to conferences with seating for 280 in our Sanctuary space. Our Grand Hall can seat up to 100 theater-style, 85 for a seated reception, and 150 standing. Our East Room can seat 65 theater-style, 45 for a seated reception, and 90 standing. Location
Saint James Place is on Great Barrington’s Main Street with excellent parking in our lot (very coveted here!). If you don’t want to have a meal catered, restaurants and coffee and tea shops are literally steps away (see list below). Great Barrington is fun to walk and offers lots of local shops. These unique local retailers offer lots of opportunity for break and after-meeting entertainment.
